Equipment selection and water-use permission are separate project responsibilities. Confirm current requirements for your actual source and use with the Water Resources Authority.
Use the official process
WRA publishes the water-use permitting process, including the submission of completion and borehole records and water-quality analysis where applicable. The required category, fees and conditions must be checked against the actual project.

Keep records with the installation brief
Provide relevant source and permit records when scoping pump installation. A pump purchase or installation quotation does not itself establish permission to abstract water. If your intended use or operating rate changes, check the applicable conditions with WRA.
Solar and electrical installation
Check current professional licensing requirements and use appropriately qualified personnel. EPRA publishes renewable-energy licensing resources; we do not assert an unverified licence or contractor registration.
