Information for a useful borehole pump quote

Share your county, nearest town and a site location pin. Tell us whether you need a new installation, equipment only, solar conversion, replacement or fault diagnosis. Explain who will use the water and the estimated daily requirement. For a farm, include the irrigation arrangement; for rental property or an institution, describe occupancy and storage.

Attach or refer to the borehole completion and pumping-test records where available. The operating water level, tested yield, tank inlet height and delivery route help define the pump duty and material quantities. Drilled depth alone does not provide enough information for reliable selection. If records are missing, we can identify what needs assessment before a final specification is agreed.

What to compare in the written proposal

Ask for the selected pump and motor, controller, pipe and cable quantities, headworks, labour and commissioning to be listed. Solar proposals should also specify the array, mounting and compatible inverter. Check whether transport, VAT, tank works, trenching and electrical upgrades are included or separate.

For an existing system, have the equipment nameplates, symptoms and controller indication ready. A clear fault description helps scope the correct first step before replacement parts are ordered. Prices, availability, package contents, delivery and written warranty terms are confirmed for the actual equipment and work. You can also review the indicative service budgets before sending your enquiry.
